CTC Global Attends 18th Annual African Utility Week Exposition – CTC Global recently attended the 18th annual African Utility Week, a major yearly trade exhibition for African power, energy, and water professionals.

Wynand DeLange, CTC Global’s VP of Business Development in the region, and other members of the CTC team, had the opportunity connect with a multitude of industry professionals in different sectors from all over Africa.

Over 7,000 attendees and 300 exhibitors came together in Cape Town, South Africa to share the latest technologies and solutions tailored to utility challenges specific to Africa. The main topics discussed included the nearly 600 ACCC conductor projects completed worldwide to improve the efficiency, capacity, reliability and resilience of the grid; completed, ongoing and upcoming projects in Africa; and how CTC Global’s engineering and field service groups are helping utilities complete important projects economically and in a timely fashion.

Mr. DeLange commented on the success of the event stating: “The ability to discuss the importance of ACCC conductor with key African utility professionals on such a large scale will certainly support further deployments of ACCC conductor in Africa.”
